Sea lion caves was fun as always and wasn't even very busy could move around good.
The Sea Lion Cave was amazing and well worth the trip. We are from Florida and South Carolina. The gift shop and museum/viewing area were well done. Truly shows they are protected and loved...a little smelly, buy aren't we all sometimes!!��

I have been visiting the Sea Lion Caves since before the elevator. It is always fun. The only con is that the facility is not handicap accessible. One has to climb stairs just to get out to the viewing areas and the restrooms. Also, they charge admission just to go outside. My daughter and grandson did really enjoy the visit to the cave which was full.
A bit more expensive than I expected, but truly unique so I guess it was worth the price.
Sealion caves has come a long way since my younger days. The cave is nice and clean & that bad smell is gone now. They have done a lot in the cave. Besides the elevator they installed, there is an area where you can sit and watch a short video. There are interesting facts around the cave about the sealife and fossils. They built stairs up to a viewing point and there is carpeting in the cave so one wont slip & fall. There was 100 + sealions in the cave on the rocks and swimming around.
