the snow crab in the “build your own boil” was not fresh, the shells were soft/rubbery, had to tear them open w/a fork, they would not “crack”, just smash to mush. the ceviche was “so-so”, kind of bland, LOTS of tomatoes & onions, a good amount of white fish & some avocado chunks, didn’t taste any serrano or jalapeno peppers, didn’t taste any cilantro. WAY TOO MUCH OIL, very BIG oily lime flavor; too much; swimming! On a scale 1-10, I’d give a 5; not the worst I’ve ever had but far from the best.

Called in a to-go order; no utensils provided, no cocktail sauce for shrimp, and dinner roll with no butter ordered-the roll came with the butter and the first few layers of bread scraped off. When we called to voice our disappointment, no acceptance of responsibility was taken. So sad.

RecommendedWow! They have seafood boil: shrimp, crab, mussels and sausage with potatoes and corn. The seafood was very fresh and cooked to perfection. It wasn't at all spicy. I smelled the seafood boil but really didn't taste it. next time, I'll bring my own seasoning to add. however, it was much fresher and better cooked than the expensive seafood boil places down the street. We do take out and delivery all the time and Sea Island is not the place for take out. The food just doesn't taste as well. Eat it fresh in the restaurant.
