We booked our 2 day trip with Seahawk Charter based off of their stellar reviews and a lengthy phone call with the owner Russ. Let me tell you, the 5of5 reviews are spot on. We did not fish with Russ, his co-captian, Jeremee took us out. We had a fantastic first day with our limit of Lake Trout and our 2nd day we caught our limit of "Silvers". We caught King Salmon, Coho Salmon and Steelhead Trout. We are already preparing to book a repeat trip next year with my family.
Both Captain Russ and Co-Captain Jeremee are great hosts, sailors and fishermen. My wife, our two grandsons, and I had a truly special day on Lake Michigan.
Had a great day on Lake Michigan. Caught plenty of kings, steelhead, and lake trout. Buddy landed a 15 lb laker. Appreciate Russ's flexibility, switching from a river trip to a lake trip when the early October temps stayed in the 80s. Between Russ and Jeremy, there was a lot of knowledge on the boat.
Had a great time on this charter. We caught king salmon, lake trout, steelhead. The captain knew what he was doing and kept us on the fish. The boat was perfect, and everything ran smooth. Definitely a great trip, I’d recommend if you are looking for a charter and you are in the St. Joseph area.
