Pass on #7 Mullet. Left a day early it was so gross!

Hi Stacey, we are sorry that you were unhappy with #7 the Mullet. Many of our Shacks were built in the 1950s and were designed as simple cabins for fishermen. Each year we completely renovate around one to two shacks and we have not gotten to #7 the Mullet yet. We suggest you check out some of our newly upgraded rooms with central air conditioning, granite counter tops, tile floors, large showers and new kitchens! In & out getting our fishing license in no time at all. Our clerk was very friendly & helpful. Love the great choice of most anything we might need or want!
We didn't use the marina but just stopped for a drink. Watched VERY hard working deckhands putting away the many boats coming in. Nice view of the marina, boats, and people coming in from fishing and scalloping. Outdoor tiki hut area is rather rustic, and you can watch them gutting fish, cleaning scallops right there. Parking was a bit tight but doable. Good for the view for sure!
RecommendedThis is our 6th year coming to Steinhatchee and our 3rd year at Sea Hag. We love everything about this place. The staff is incredibly nice (You won't likely find harder working people anywhere else!), our cabin is always spotless and it's a great place to spend a long weekend. it is our happy place!
