The Rainforest Centre and walk were a wonderful part of our trip to Port Macquarie. The visitor centre at the beginning has information about the park, a gift shop, and toilets. They has signs about their (paid) guided walks, which we would have definitely selected had we arrived at the right time. There is an entrance fee to the Rainforest walk. Got up close to Powerful Owls,just so beautiful.
Lovely experience viewing the rainforest amd hearing multiple birds like the whipbird. Saw a large healthy monitor
It was a lovely easy walk with great accessibility for all abilities. You can do the self guided walk or pay a little extra for a guided walk which is wonderful as the guides are wonderful, full of extra information & so friendly. We then had a lovely lunch at the Cafe.
