I have been taking my dog to Southeast Veterinary Dermatology in Charlotte for years now. I have a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever who [she] was scratching herself uncontrollably, and I've had no idea why. We love Dr. Piccione and all of the staff here! They always remember us when we come in and are so accommodating to my dog reactive dog to ensure there are no other dogs in the waiting room when we are moving in and out. On our first visit, Dr. Piccione made a preliminary diagnosis, which turned out to be correct after a biopsy, after we had been treated for a different diagnosis for months prior by our regular vet. I was able to get an appointment in a few weeks for my dog's skin condition. Everyone at the practice was so pleasant. Dr. Piccione had a preliminary diagnosis and gave us a treatment plan while we were there. It was just incredible! My veterinarian and I have been treating this skin problem for close to a year! So happy I went there! The entire experience was fantastic!
This was my first time taking my dog to Animal Dermatology and was very pleasantly surprised, and my expectations were already high. From check in to check out, everyone was terrific. Very caring, empathetic and knowledgeable about my girl's condition. I felt part of the decision-making process and understood everything the team there discussed with me concerning their findings and recommendations. Highly recommend!!
