We spent spring break here for our son’s senior year and had a wonderful time. The history of the house and the interior decorations are exquisite. Many of the Montague paintings hang in the house and are treasures! The story of building the studio and house with river rocks is amazing. We trekked to the San Gabriel River and enjoyed searching for fossils and special rocks. The patios have great furniture and are restful and there’s always a nice breeze. Currently on our second stay here. Farmhouse is well kept and comfortable. We love the quiet, kids love the chickens. Dogs and kids love the creek. I love sitting outside and just relaxing in the peace. A great place to 'get away from it all' and decompress. Owners are lovely people. We will definitely come again.
Beautiful place, friendly people, now selling hand crafted goods. Pottery and fine woodworking. Don't miss the river!
Beautiful serene Ranch with stunning views. Host Sheron took the time to give us a tour as well as baked the best muffins for us. Outdoor. patio gave us beautiful sunsets & starry nights that were breathtaking. Cant wait to return.
Repeat destination! Pros: Great Location on a family-owned Farm. Owner was extremely friendly and courteous. Beautiful stretch of river near location. Peaceful and quite. Dog friendly Perfect size for 2 people and a dog. Details, Sheron Scurlock provided such a unique and enjoyable rental that we are looking forward to going back to.
