Started by two brothers 12 and 14 years old as a summer job that has quickly become a popular activity to do in the Chicagoland area. Meet the Business Owner Bikrum and Jorawar K. Business Owner When another rental company closed their doors both brothers were inspired to fill the gap and try running a business. With a lot of hard work and guidance from their parents, Scull and Oars has quickly become a great place to rent and try kayaking.

RecommendedWe decided to rent a canoe and paddle the river! We had the best time on this interactive canoe trek. Trevor mentioned we would need to get out of the canoe in some of the low spots on the river to move the boat, which was one of my favorite things about this activity. I highly recommend booking through this company. We literally had a blast and enjoyed seeing the Fall colors!
Had a great trip with my husband today. Trevor was really easy going and friendly. He worked with us when I made an error in booking and his communication was excellent. What a great fun way to spend the morning! We look forward to another trip in the Spring:)

IF YOU ARE EVER GOING TO GO KAYAKING.. USE THIS COMPANY!! I swear they are THE BEST. Trevor provides such a fun experience! He’s so down to earth and makes you feel beyond comfortable before hitting the water. This man knows how to run a business and his scull & oat gear is pretty sick too 💪🏽 He makes it easy for first timers and beyond fun and you won’t regret booking with this company. Worked with owner and was very laid back and flexible to work with. We had an issue that required to change our reservation time and he was able to work with us to move it an hour later with no issue. Route was relaxing, intriguing, and fun.
Had the best time. Trevor is extremely knowledgeable and gave great tips for fishing this river! Kayaks were in great shape. I love that you can just drive away when you finish! Highly recommend. 🤗
Such a perfect day for an adventure!
I took 5 girls 5 to 14 and we had a blast. It was hot and a lot of paddling, but fun! We really enjoyed getting out and swimming by the small rapids and finding frogs and clams. Trevor was great to work with. thanks!!!!
