You wait forever and they pretend to call your name but never do. The people seem to care and try hard which is unfortunate that the wait times are so long and service is subpar.
I'm a veteran. I spent 4 years of my life in service for the United States and the people thereof. I went to Scripps urgent Care for a medical issue, when I showed them my ID from my VA medical I was told that they do not accept this insurance. WHAT???????????????????? PRETTY SAD STATEMENT YOUR INSURANCE IS NO GOOD HERE YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY CASH........... ABOMINABLE BEHAVIOR FROM A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. I THINK THE ONLY ONES WHO PROFIT HERE ARE YOUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. GREEDY GRUBBERS.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Scripps Health Express. As a regular patient, I expected better care, but what I received was the complete opposite. I arrived at 7:25 PM—35 minutes before closing—seeking medical attention, only to be told that because they were closing soon, I would have to come back the next day. Went in for urgent care, the nice worker asked me of my symptoms and told me i should sign into Health Express because they would be able to see me faster as Urgent care wait was almost 3 hours at the time. I waited less than an hour. I was taken care of very well on that side. I liked the nurse, and Physician Assistant that took care of me way better than the Doctor that I had seen on Urgent care side a year ago. Nurse Practitioner Sophia was very caring and thorough. Today was my first time visiting the express clinic because i needed to get some stitches removed. I was in and out very quickly and the NP Christine was soo kind and exceptional. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Christine!
