It is a great place to find a Medical care
Predatory billing and coding just for the hospital's doctors to make more sales. Don't trust this place, hard lesson learned to always ask your doctor for medical coding before you agree to any medical services they want to upsell you. I stopped by to visit Dr. Licup for what I requested was an annual check up. While he seemed pleasant to talk to, he ordered a number of lab tests in addition to my physical, many of which my insurance noted as unnecessary and not typical, and insurance refused to cover, which left me with a $... read more
I came in for an establishing care visit with Dr. Manika Talati, and my bill reflected much more that what was delivered in our appointment - padded medical billing in my opinion. An establishing care appointment over $500? That is not right. Several hundred dollars off from my estimated cost. I was excited to be a Scripps patient but it's unfortunate that due to this circumstance, I have held off on receiving care in fear of being falsely billed again.
First time at Scripps in Oceanside and I was impressed with my new doctor, Dr Steven Yale, the lab and the X-ray departments. Everything and everyone exceeded my expectations! Great place!
