My physician of 13 years passed away unexpectedly, so I recently transitioned my care to Scripps. I have had only 2 visits so far (the 1st with a physician and the 2nd with a nurse practitioner). Unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. At my 1st visit, I brought a clear list of medications that needed to be continued. I came in for an establishing care visit with Dr. Manika Talati, and my bill reflected much more that what was delivered in our appointment - padded medical billing in my opinion. An establishing care appointment over $500? That is not right. Several hundred dollars off from my estimated cost. I was excited to be a Scripps patient but it's unfortunate that due to this circumstance, I have held off on receiving care in fear of being falsely billed again.
Laboratory Staff was so wonderful and patient. I came with outside orders and they helped me so much by contacting my outside provider to help with the orders and followed up to get me in quickly
We received excellent medical care at this clinic; our family doctor was especially friendly, patient, and attentive to our health concerns.
