Dr. Kellie Schueler is fantastic! She took her time reviewing my meds and made great recommendations, she took time to explain the changes she was suggesting and reassured me that if I needed additional care she would find me an appropriate referral. She did not seem rushed and she was super friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!
I hardly ever write reviews but I genuinely appreciate Dr. Rode and the care she gave me. She took the time to go over treatment plans, suggestions, answered all of my questions as well as playing with my 18 month old daughter who is certainly a busy body. She was patient, direct, and kind. I did not feel pressured to do the ultrasound after bloodwork confirmed my chemical pregnancy. I had been using Scripps for OBGYN for years. They had never been worried about any of my past issues when it came to me getting pregnant. I got pregnant and miscarried. The Dr told me we won’t do any testing until you’ve lost 4 pregnancy’s. I got pregnant again and miscarried. Through the whole experience there was no empathy, no compassion and no urgency whatsoever in returning my panicked calls and messages. Serena was so kind and helpful. She listened and took the time to understand my current situation, she took every single detail in account and repeated the entire thing back as summary. I’ve been looking to transfer my care at 6 months pregnant and it’s been a nightmare, one of my first attempts was La Jolla OBGYN, and the woman who took my call was so cold and rude, no customer service skills whatsoever. We need more people like Serena in healthcare, she has exceptional customer service.
I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk lady of the birthing center. The cashier has no clue about the self pay program and the details of billing system. When i had my cervix open for 4cm they were still discharging me back home and just being back and forth of the hospital is very painful. I have only seen my doctor 2 times and she canceled my appointment as if it is not important.
