This hidden gem is definitely worth the trip! The service and atmosphere made you feel that you were in your family's restaurant. The quality of the food was like dining in a 5 star location. The portions were more than generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The large, tender, flavorful filet mignon was a wonderful surprise, especially for a place famous for their giant sea scallops and seafood. Scribner's has entered in the top 5 of my favorite local restaurants.

Scribners Scribners is off the beaten path in the Woodmont section of Milford. It was highly recommended, and I thought it was good but not great. First, we had to park blocks away from the entrance. The parking lot is undersized for the number of tables they have. very romantic place we went here on Valentines day last years. The place looked so pretty. candle light.The food was very good.The only thing is its tight. I like room around me.But everyone I talk to loves it here too.Price is ok.a little high but worth it
Best Seafood anywhere! – I have entertained guests from all over the world at Scribner's and they all agree with me that it is the overall best seafood restaurant anyone has ever enjoyed. If you are in Southern Connecticut, you should not miss it. If you are within a few hours, it is worth the trip. The portions are large and it is worth leaving room for dessert, so bring a big appetite.
