First class across the board. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Summers has a way with cats like I’ve never seen. He pets them and talks to them softly and they calm right down. It’s amazing. I’ve been bringing my cats here for years and I would highly recommend them.
We have been taking our cats to Dr. Summers now for a few years and he is hands down the best veterinarian we have ever taken them to! Dr. Summers and his staff are the kindest, most compassionate people. We are grateful to everyone at the Scratching Post for taking special care of our cats, including one rescued from a less fortunate situation who needed extra kind care, and one with FIV who Dr. Summers advised us could live a full and happy life (and he is!). I highly recommend the Scratching Post!
So thankful for the wonderful treatment my two cats received after they accidently ingested some lily petals. Dr. Summers and his team are so caring and compassionate. I would recommend this practice to anyone with cats.
I can never say enough good things about Dr. Summers and his staff. They have always had the utmost respect and compassion for both myself and my cats. The facility is amazing, welcoming, and comfortable. I recommend them above all others for the treatment and care of your feline friends.
I live in Clinton County, and have an FIV positive cat...I was persuaded by the local vets to put him down. I looked for an alternative, and found The Scratching Post. They treated him amazingly for his condition, with complete compassion that there are ways to cope with this issue. My cat is always treated with the utmost respect. Even after I had to take him back for a few day stay because he got an infection, I was never made to feel like a terrible pet parent. We love the staff here. Always helpful, happy, and I feel the prices are very fair. Appointments can be a few days out, so plan ahead. All in all, I couldn't ask for better.
As sad a time as it was, we couldn't have ask for better care. We took my Daughter's cat Mahalo in for surgery on her teeth. Her labs came back and her kidneys were to bad to operate. We chose the kindest less selfish way. The Vet was excellent as well as all the staff. They had a special room, were sympathetic, and gave us time with her no rushing. Dr. Summers and the rest of the staff are amazing! Truly know their stuff and are kind and loving to the kitties! My cat, Eli, was gravely ill with a rare condition but is now on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Summers! I would recommend them to anyone for anything cat related!
