Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend My recent stay at Mendocino Coast Lodge was one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve ever had. We weren’t even allowed to check in until 4 PM, which was frustrating enough, but things only went downhill from there. The room was dirty upon arrival, with an overall feeling of poor maintenance and neglect. Utterly gorgeous location - really couldn't be a more stunning location.
I booked this for 2 nights for our mini moon after our wedding and had cottage 2. I was disappointed with the lack of detail. We noticed streaked glass, staining on the sheets, cracks in the bathtub vinyl, terrible coffee we couldn't even drink, slow wifi, our neighbors able to look right into our room so blinds needed to be closed, and poor quality bath products. We enjoyed a breathtaking view from this beautiful, cozy room with charming old-world style. Although the stay was on the pricier side, the spectacular view truly made it worth every penny. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a TV. Overall, a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to see you again!
