We stayed one night for 350$ which is more expensive then a night at our 1 bed 2 bath condo in Kona. So that is the 2 star room. It was clean, water pressure was good, beds were comfortable. Ac didn't cool as well as I'd like but it wasn't bad. Beds are very uncomfortable but there isnt much in Hilo. Other than the outrageous price, I'd recommend for maybe 1 night.

This is a beautiful hotel. It had an “Old Hawaii” feel, yet everything was updated. Our room was cozy, which encouraged us to spend time in the lobbies and open areas. The pool area was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and nice to talk with. We loved this place.
En arrivant on s’est dit Wahou. Hôtel face à une lagune, accueil et parties communes très jolies. Puis en montant aux chambres on a déchanté. Viel hôtel dont seul les parties communes ont été correctement rénovées. Les chambres sont ni fait ni à faire. La Clim fait un bruit épouvantable. Les petits lits ( difficile à 2) ont des matelas déformés et les années les ont déformées. Jamais aussi mal dormi au USA.
