The place was amazing where nature and authenticity met. Keith and Valerie were wonderful hosts that greeted us with their hospitality and humanity. Even their dog Zara welcomed us like family. Cabin were nice and clean as well. It is a go to go destination for those who love adventures and fishing into the marsh. We will come back when passing by into Florida!
Keith, Val, and Zara (sweet boxer) were amazing hosts for our family stay at their cabins! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place! Never seen so many stars at night! Loved the boat house and the fire Keith built. Clean, comfortable and chill! Thanks so much for having us. We'll be back and hope to have more time to enjoy it all!
Scouts Lodge was a highlight stay for us on a recent bikepacking trip along the Forgotten Coast. The cabins are cute and clean (and have A/C), the beds are comfortable, the shower water is nice and hot, and we were treated to a delicious meal of salmon and grouper. Keith, Val, and their adorable dog Zara are great hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable and were very accommodating. Keith and his wife were wonderful hosts! The cabins were beautiful, clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for a guys fishing trip. They were attentive to every need and even prepared us a delicious dinner with fish we caught that day. This is the epitome of southern hospitality in a pristine setting. We can't wait to come back again for another great weekend!
I really enjoyed my stay at Scout's Lodge. Stepping into the cabins feels like a warm hug from a friend. It's a beautiful property and Val, Keith, and Zara are wonderful hosts!
