I want to give a shout out to our realtor Jonathan Harris of Scout Realty for handling our sale in a challenging market. This is our second experience with Scout after selling our Brentwood home through them in 2023. Knowledgeable, professional and best of all work on a fixed fee resulting in greater net proceeds on a sale than standard broker commission rates.
They've got a unit listed in my neighborhood and are advertising with pictures of my home. Ethics aside, they're clearly misrepresenting the property they are attempting to lease.
We are selling our house. This company sent me an unsolicited package for advertisement. All I received was a notification that a pay on receipt package was waiting for me at post office. I spent an hour of a rare day off from work, before taking my son to the park, going to USPS and paying $5 for a package (still not knowing what it was), just to receive a video advertisement that I never requested or wanted. Just purchased my first home with Hensley Loeb as my realtor...I had no idea what the buying process would be like, but if it's always this easy, then 10/10 would do again. She got me the house for under asking, PLUS closing costs & title fees paid by the seller. She was a fantastic middleman between myself, the lender, seller's agent, and title company. As an added bonus, her closing gifts were the sweetest with such a nice personal touch!!!
Let me start by saying that our experience with Scout was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we decided to work with them until the closing of the deal, they proved to be the epitome of incompetence. First and foremost, it was evident that the Realtor didn't bother to take the time to get to know us or understand our needs.
