Went to work for them from work release, and I was a great employee. The work is tough to say the least but I was happy to work for them... I will be working for them again as soon as I can get free from the legal matter and get a driver license reinstated...
My father worked for this company from the 1960s till 1989 and it was a great place to work. I remember when I was a young teenager going to work with my dad on Saturdays and getting paid to do cleanup and other things in the shop. My dad sometimes even would pick up Mr. Scougal from his house in Edmonds and take him to work. When my father passed away Mr. Scougal even kept my mom and myself on the insurance for the next 6 months. Terrible company to work for... I speak on behalf of my husband whom worked at Scougal Rubber. They are fire happy pay minimum wage for Hard Grunt work and work you Long hours, Overtime is Not Optional, they make you work it with a 1 to 2 day notice at the Sign in station. No one wants to work here because it's absolutely lousy. The HR lady didn't even wanna stay.
Great people. Always a pleasant conversation when I talk to them. Very picky on quality and has the customer's needs in the forefront.
