Had my fuel oil furnace heat ex-changer cleaned. He came promptly and really cleaned it out, it was a mess! He also looked at the flu ducts and chimney and cleaned those at as well since they were collecting debris. He showed me the problems and what he had done. He also recommend having the furnace re-tuned for maximum efficiency. This is not a service he provides. I would recommend Scotty's wholeheartedly.
Starting with the estimate..Sounded ok.Schuduled an appointment to have the house cleaned..Called to confirm the appointment..they totally forgot..said they'd be there in the morning..He/ Owner called the next morning and said they would not be able to make it due to a medical issue..I told him I took the day off from work and I'd be able to help him get he job done..I worked 8 hours with the owner..he said he forgot the estimate and asked if i remembered what it was..I told him it was $500.00..he said that's right..we finis... read more
