Normally when I go into this office the ladies are great and so is Dr. Mandy. However, I would make sure that the vet tech Cynthia does not get her hands on your animal. She is very aggressive and extremely rude! I have a one year old German Shepherd and yes he is 80 pounds and does not like his nails trimmed but that does not mean that someone should be grabbing him and making him holler and since all of the new restrictions his last visit I was not able to go in with him and he came out a scared pup who was very confused a... read more

I can’t thank Dr. Mandy and her techs enough that came in on July 4th. Our 3yr old cat had a bladder stone that caused an obstruction. Dr. Mandy tried to relax him without having to do surgery but he had to have the procedure done and stay with them for a couple of days. He’s back to his normal self now. I know Smokey really appreciates what you all did for him. Thank you all so much for coming in on the holiday weekend to take care of him.

I have never actually been to this vet but I am out of town my dog got hurt on her leg and was in pain. I couldnt get her to my normal vet back home so I called scottsville animal hospital. The went out of their way to try to see her but unfortunately they were super super busy that day and couldnt see my dog during office hours but they told me what i could give her for pain and then they called the next day to make sure she was doing better. They jacked the price up $60 after my dogs surgery was done. Was told it would be $137 to fix her while she was in heat. I questioned the price increase and was told it was because she was in heat. With the Governor's mandate only emergency surgery can be performed. So they are ignoring the mandate or are doing a bait and switch and charging more after the fact. I know what they did, they are taking advantage of people! Get a written estimate before anything is done!
The best!! My dog, Ozzy has EXTREME anxiety and requires sedation for routine exams. The are great at what they do. I wouldn’t take him any where else. Thanks Dr. Mandy and Janna for your help and patience this morning.
My girlfriend and I just left from here. Don't get me wrong the vet was amazing. The only issue is we were quoted 30 dollars for an allergy shot. Which ended up being a little over 150 dollars. A family member was a bit more heated than I was and called asking why it's so much. Where the receptionist gave out my billing information to someone that isn't me or my girlfriend. I love the staff and the way they way they treat our babies!
I am so pleased with Dr. Mandy she did a great job with my difficult pup her and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They made sure to be detailed with explanations and instructions also patient with myself and my dog.
