Checked in today. Unfortunately it was not possible to move into the room on time at 4pm. We were a little earlier and had to wait about 75 minutes even though nobody checked in during this time. Unbelievable. Because of the inconvenience we got a credit of 30$ with the room card. The room is completely outdated. Carpet and furniture look like the room has never been renovated. I guess the whole thing is certainly older than 20 years. The "old" curtain in the bedroom was torn. The hotel is certainly not recommended.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Have been a 30 year loyalist with Marriott properties. This was the worst room I've ever stayed in....EVER. Hotel hasn't been updated in at least 20 years. Pictures on site don't match what is on the property. It is built on the flight path of an airport, planes landing until late in the evening and started around 500am. Windows would shake. Had a king suite. Our son slept on pull out that was so bad he had spring marks on his back when he woke up. Room was dirty. Staff was apologetic and embarra... read more
I had a great stay at the Scottsdale Marriott! The location is perfect — you can go for a peaceful walk and there’s a beautiful park just half a mile away. The views of the golf course and mountains are absolutely stunning. The valet team deserves a shoutout — they were so kind, friendly, and welcoming every time we came or went. The food on-site was also fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
Extremely unprofessional Human Resource department. Lack of contact and information is astounding.
