It was beautiful When you enter the resort you will amazed of it's beautiful landscape. The resort has elegant entrance and very clean facilities. They do have amazing reception area with beautiful design and big chandelier and it was awesome. When you get to the rooms or their suite, you will see a beautiful and very relaxing rooms. The bed was soft and very relaxing. Each room has cool bathroom, nice tub. I was so amazed by the resort.

Outdated After flying cross country I arrived to find "Management" completely unaware of an event meeting scheduled MONTHS in advance. Totally bizarre layout, guests must walk 1/2 a mile around a shopping mall and private apartments to reach the lobby and restaurant! Rooms are outdated and smell moldy. Entire facility in dire need of a facelift. Front desk staff rude - "too busy" to assist guests in obtaining transportation. A bit oudated. You can do better for the $ Stayed in a suite with a hot tub for $139/night. I like the fact that you have your own casita, but they are very dated and in need of some new life. Hot tub looked much nicer on the website picture. It was smaller than many bathtubs and I had to clean it when I arrived! There are many hotels in Scottsdale. You'd be better off going elsewhere. I can't believe Marriott has their name associated with this "upscale" property.

Don't come here for a special occasion We stayed here on our wedding night. From the pictures and what we were told about the resort - we were very dissapointed when we arrived. The staff had promised to set up the room for us and nothing was done. The rooms were very standard and not that spectacular for the price. The only really nice thing was our own private hot tub in the back. There is a high wall around it so no one can see in. Excellent The Rennaissance owned by Marriott is perhaps one of the best Marriotts in the world. Its worth just to visit this place. The grounds are really beautiful, have some tapas on the court or go to one of their corral BBQ's. Excellent.
