I lived in these apartments for 13 years, It is a friendly environment and I loved my apartment. Although occasionally I would get a bad neighbor the landlord was prompt to make sure that problems were handled. I loved the fact that my two children were able to play outside and I didnt have to worry for their safety. (Of course i supervised them well) There is no playground for the children to play on but this is an issue they are currently working on.
