On September 19, 2018, I brought my 2003 BMW 325i station wagon to Scott’s Motor Works with the complaint of oil consumption. I was told that a new adjusting unit would fix the problem and only genuine BMW parts would be used. I was charged $403.63 for the part and $100.00 for labor. The problem was not solved. On the next visit, I was told that the crank case ventilation valve needed to be replaced with a genuine BMW version. I was charged $79.00 for the part and $300.00 for labor. They won't call back if you leave voicemails and never answer the phone...even when you were waiting on parts. Never did hear back. Went to Central Care Care....they are awesome!
I can't say enough good things about Scott's BMW. They have nursed my 2001 X5 from the time it went out of warranty until its current 225,000 miles and it is still going strong. The owner, Ray, is professional, responsive and never pushes repair work on you. Jeff, the head mechanic, is a genius. Work has always been done correctly and timely. As my car passes through a quarter million miles, I have no doubt that Jeff can keep it going to a half million.
