Bill was first put in a large room with several beds but was alone. Then they added a FEMALE to the room with a curtain between but not across the foot of his bed. She had to walk past his unscreened bed to use the bathroom, so he had no privacy. The day I had to leave for home, they refused to let me see Bill at 8:30 AM, saying he was still asleep and they don't let visitors in until the patient is awake. Since Bill was terminally ill and an extra few minutes of sleep wouldn't have cured him, this seems pointlessly cruel to... read more
