My mother passed away in Scott’s house. My mother was taken to Scott’s house Friday July 17th and passed away the next morning Saturday July 18th I never wanted to admit she was so sick she needed to be in hospice but Scott’s house made me feel so at peace. They had her in her own room, she had the ac blasting (which she loved) as soon as she complained about pain she was given medication. Bill was first put in a large room with several beds but was alone. Then they added a FEMALE to the room with a curtain between but not across the foot of his bed. She had to walk past his unscreened bed to use the bathroom, so he had no privacy. The day I had to leave for home, they refused to let me see Bill at 8:30 AM, saying he was still asleep and they don't let visitors in until the patient is awake. Since Bill was terminally ill and an extra few minutes of sleep wouldn't have cured him, this seems pointlessly cruel to... read more
