Absolutely LOVE the Scottish Bakehouse - having been going there since I was a child with my parents and I am now a Nana!
Great bakery/cafe, great GF options that are very good. Try the cheese bread, cranberry muffins, almond cookies with chocolate. My sandwich with GF bread was delish. Get there early for GF, it's good so they sell out fast. I wish they were in Boston. Good GF cafe, bakery restaurant are hard to find! Don't miss this place!!

It was a huge relief to find a place on the vineyard that understood vegan food and had satisfying vegan meals. The garden was nice and peaceful to visit. Overall really great. I dropped 1 star though because although they are fully aware of vegan food and are prepared to serve vegans, the coconut tofu on the menu isn't vegan by default because of the egg wash used to make the coconut stick. Every other aspect is already vegan, so why not just use a different ingredient instead of eggs by default? They could use oil, water, ... read more
