It's like visiting the Italian grandmother you never knew you had. – The Scene When you walk in, it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. Even during the day, this place is dark, lit only by a few decorative lights and dim candlelight--perhaps to soften the decor. I just found the best tasting restaurant – People who don't understand Italian food should not write about it. I travel all over the country and Canada...Scotti's is the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. I do not understand why anyone would say anything bad about this place. THUMBS UP FOR SCOTTI'S. ANYONE EATING THERE IS IN FOR A TREAT.
over rated – The service was good, but the food wasn't. The Italian sausage was a store bought variety and looked awfully close to a plain old frank, which was surprising given the high price.
Quaint – A low key place with great ambience, perfect for a date or lunch. Just make sure to take cash.
You can't top a classic... – I've eaten at Scotti's several times over the years and think of it often. It is an Italian restaurant from an older time with classic Southern recipes. The food's a lot heavier than today's norm, the flavors much more complex, the experience nostalgic. It reminds me of Da Vinci's in Philadelphia. Given Scotti's history this is no surprise. I remember the stack of records on the changer .. more than 10, they'd start to slip and someone had to go down and start them over...
The best kept secret in Cincinnati! – Authentic Italian food and a great atmosphere. You can't ask for better service. The worst thing I can say about Scotti's is the servings are huge! Be prepared to have it for lunch the next day.
The Italian Rave – Scoties is very quaint, the atmosohere is extremly romantic and the service is excellent.
Scotti's Rocks!!!! – Wow! Scotti's is superb. The ambiance is great, the food is fantastic and you haven't eaten true Italian cuisine unless you've been to Scotti's! (Or your of Italian heritage and have a good cook in the family!!!!)
Real Italian – I have eatend here for close to 30 years. I never am unhappy with my selection
