Last summer, in the middle of my husband’s cancer treatment, we were told that his oncologist was no longer working for Baylor Scott & White. We were assigned Dr. Lucas Wong as his replacement. As my husband began his second round of chemo and immunotherapy, he became sicker than he’d ever been, and we went to MD Anderson and discovered that the cancer had metastasized into his liver. Absolutely the worst customer service/doctor/nurse/patient relations possible.  Only use them because locked in by insurance from employer. Have been waiting 3 days for nurse callback so far.  2 days from patient relations without callback. AGAIN, the specialty clinic has screwed up prescription renewals beyond imagination.  Total incompetence.  On top of that, you cannot call them.  When Mychart is working, they still do not get prescriptions right OR call you back after repeated pleas.  When you call the helpline, they lie... read more

I honestly see why they are #7 hospital in Texas. We were in the hospital over a week before a bleed in the colon was found. I guess it could happen. Transfusions just about daily. Not very organized. Doctors say one thing and the surgical team says something different. Very frustrating. I asked to speak with the surgeon after the surgery. Out of the question. Couldn't meet with him. Couldn't set up a time to meet or call. Doctor answered questions that he could, but other questions he had to get back with me. Never happened... read more
