Dr. Sauer is kind, knowledgeable and patient. My daughter had multiple breaks in her foot and Dr. Sauer broke the bad news about surgery in as gentle a manner as possible. He was clear about the seriousness of her situation without being overly negative. (We had an experience with a different orthopedic surgeon in the area that was horrible -- Mr. Doomsday.) She just had surgery yesterday so I can't yet attest to the success of the surgery but our experience so far has been very positive.
