My daughter was brought to the ER on Sunday, January 11th around 3:45 PM following a suicide attempt involving an overdose of clonidine and escitalopram, along with dangerously low blood pressure and inability to stand. We brought my 3 day old son in to Children’s ED with lethargy, not eating, and no wet diapers. Dr. James assessed him and said he was perfectly healthy and fine. About 30 minutes after he assessed him, my son stopped breathing. The physician never came in after this event. I requested that he assess my son and the doctor came in, was extremely rude, and asked me what I wanted him to do.
