I was a first time patient to see Dr. Mcgarvey. I had read other reviews, mostly positive. I was checked into the patient room 35 mins late by his medical assistant. I told her about my medical issue and let her know I had an employer form I requested be filled out. She said, "Oh, you don't want to work!?" It was rude and conescending to make that stretch. My experience with Dr. Scott McGarvey was excellent. He is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. His skill set far exceeded what I thought possible. I was able to resume running only six and a half months after surgery. That was nothing short of miraculous, given that my ankle was fractured in both the tibia and fibula. It’s very important to follow Dr. McGarvey’s instructions, if you want the best results. He certainly does his part, but the patient will do well to comply with his strict orders. When I was in an accident, my family (some of whom were orthopedic surgeons) knew I would receive the absolute best care from Doctor Mcgarvey. He was incredible after I had major injuries in my foot; I credit his brilliant work and the strict guidelines he gave me with the fact that I am walking today and will likely be able to run again. I cannot speak highly enough of him or his team! They were supportive and meticulous and, overall, made such a difference in my recovery.
