Two weeks ago, I had my truck at the Ford dealership where I was traveling in Wausau, Wisconsin. Just an oil change..... they had the truck for six hours. Without lots of detail, I ended up paying $275 for an oil change and an estimate of $1300.00 to change the EGR cooler (service engine light came on). I was very upset with them because no one could explain to me about anything they'd done or proposed to do for an extra $1300, or what they'd done to justify $275 for a $130 oil change.
