I've been going to Mia Scott, D.O. for 3-4 years now and she is one of the finest doctors in Denver
Cannot EVER reach her or anyone in her practices, she has 2. I’ve been waiting for 2 wks for Her to refill a simple prescription.
I feel like Dr. Scott doesn't even work here anymore. Person at front desk told me Dr Scott isn't taking new patients and that she's booked through the year. I've been a patient for two decades! The emptiness and ignorance is so frustrating.
I have been a patent of Dr Scott's for a few years now. I would like to emphasize the courtesy and care she and her staff have shown. At no time has anyone ever entered the exam room without knocking and asking to enter.
Space here is too limiting: issues with front office staff, ease of getting appointments when sick; not effective at identifying medical issues outside of hiv related issues, exams are not thorough, prescribe antibiotics and steroids too often, seen by pA’s most of time, rare to see doctor (DO or MD) in office - if there they aren’t visible. Location has horrible traffic and parking difficult at best. More concerned with revenue; seems top priority, high employee turnover (PA’s, Dr’s and staff)
I called one of there offices and made an appointment thru the number they had posted on there website. Apparently no one thought to update the number. I scheduled around work so I could be there only to find out their office booked me with a chiropractor. Keep in mind i was fasting for blood work. I cant speak of or rate the doctor herself because I never got to meet her but her office is garbage. The staff even after i told them what happened offered no help
Doesn't knock before entering room and asked why was told are you hiding something. Very poor bedside manners.
