Dr. McGovern is a gifted surgeon. He carefully explained what will done during my surgery using the X-ray of my spine as a visual aid. He additionally explained what I could expect following surgery. He welcomed any questions I had before and after my surgery. I am a former outpatient orthopedic physical therapist that treated many post surgery patients involving the spine. Dr. McGovern fused my Lower spine and eliminated the sciatica pain completely. Recently, he reviewed the shooting pain from my back to my foot tops and recommended further diagnosis by a urologist due to other symptoms.
Very clear explanation of issues and how to resolve.
