I had Cervical discectomy and neck fusion surgery level 4 done last September 30th by Dr.Shalin Patel and I wanted to go back and see Dr.Scott McGovern because I know that he's one of the best in the country at what he does ,I know that my spine issues needed someone of Dr.McGovern' experience, the thought never entered my mind to go anywhere else, so I'm looking forward to being treated by POA and Dr.McGovern going forward for whatever we decide to do
Dr. McGovern is a gifted surgeon. He carefully explained what will done during my surgery using the X-ray of my spine as a visual aid. He additionally explained what I could expect following surgery. He welcomed any questions I had before and after my surgery. I am a former outpatient orthopedic physical therapist that treated many post surgery patients involving the spine. The results of my surgery far exceeded my expectations for my complicated surgery. Nicholas Matiuck
Dr. McGovern fused my Lower spine and eliminated the sciatica pain completely. Recently, he reviewed the shooting pain from my back to my foot tops and recommended further diagnosis by a urologist due to other symptoms.
