Website stated accepting new patients. Requested an appointment. Waited 2 days. No calls to schedule the appointment. I called the doctor’s office - they informed me that he is not accepting new patients. What a waste of time!!
Started seeing Dr. Vejcik one year ago after moving back to the area from out of state. It is always a tough thing to find a doctor when you don't have a local one, but I find this office to be very helpful in easily setting up appointments with minimal time waiting for one, when I need to get in. And Dr. Vejcik is always attentive and listens when I come in to go over medical issues, and he devotes a good amount of time during the visit not rushing as many do, to better understand the issues and look for solutions. I followed him from his last practice because he is JUST THAT GOOD!
Dr. Vejcik is the most thorough and down-to-earth physician I've ever visited. He is patient, engaged, and I trust his decisions in regard to my health. His bedside manner is top drawer, not even one whiff of impatience, irritation or arrogance. I'm 55 and I wish I'd found him thirty years ago.
On my recommendation, my 22 year old daughter now sees Dr. Vejcik as her primary care physician. I think that speaks for itself, but the reasons I find him such a good choice are that he takes his time with you, has a relaxing manner, and will permit you to address any issues you have at the time. He explains why he is recommending a course of treatment, without the physician as god attitude. Dr. V. Is clearly well-read on frontline medicine and treatment studies. And I really like him.
I used to see Dr. Vejcik when he worked at the Family Practice that I currently go to. He is the absolute best! He talks to you like a human, he actually listens to what you have to say, and takes the time to examine you properly. If he wasn't so far from me I'd still be going to see him when I needed it.
