Being a 71 year old woman with no history of surgery or hospitalization except for child birth 50 years ago, to say I was anxious about foot surgery, would be an understatement. Dr. Hoffman immediately put me at ease, explaining the recommended procedure. I had had bunions on both feet for as long as I could remember with calluses on the balls of my feet causing excruciating pain. As a result all my toes were bent in different directions. My husband never had any chronic foot pain before. Being in tremendous amounts of pain daily after Hoffman did survey on his foot because my husband broke his foot. Now the issue seems to be worse! Every day my husband is in alot of pain, he gets no pain meds or help. Oh and he can't interact like he use to because the surgey has been done over a year and it's like he still has a broken foot.
