Office staff is horrible with communication. Had to call to confirm surgery appointment and pre-surgery instructions. No confirmation or reminder for follow-up either. Dr. Thatcher never came to talk to me afterwards and explain how the surgery went, which was disappointing. They also never called to check on my daughter to make sure she was ok…. Which I know a lot of places do after surgery. A nurse told me she would come get me if my daughter was crying and asking for me when she woke up, but she never did. My daughter sai... read more

Horrible place! They don’t understand insurers the floor sounds like it’s going to collapse. It feels like you’re in the projects.

I rarely write reviews but I had to let anyone looking for an oral surgeon could not do better than Dr. Thatcher. I am someone terribly afraid of dentists but Dr. Thatcher and his staff me the whole process a cake walk. He extracted two of my teeth. One being a wisdom. The other a broken root canal. I was shocked at how smooth and fast the whole process went. He genuinely appears to have a concern for others and is extremely professional. Dr. Thatcher did a wonderful job extracting two of my front teeth and completing the implants during the same less than 1 hour appointment. The staff was very friendly and professional at the West Chester and Finneytown offices besides informing me ahead of time of what the cost range would be but couldn’t be exact due to the bone grafting procedures possibly being unnecessary. I am very pleased with their work and staff.

Dr. Thatcher is the absolute greatest oral surgeon on the planet! I have had teeth extracted and implants by him and there has never been a concern. I seriously am so grateful to be a patient of his and benefit from his expertise.

I am one of those people who judge any business on basis of reviews, I was very hesitant to visit him as there were not much reviews online for their practice but as he was the first choice of my denstist I went ahead with him for my wisdom tooth extraction surgery. I must say the process was so easy, he has great staff, the doctor himself is so nice. Everything in my surgery went very well and I could'nt ask for more.

Dr. Thatcher is a good oral surgeon. However, a doctor is only as good as his office staff, so I can't give a good review. The office staff implied they had pre-approved benefits and even demanded a check the day of surgery. Then I get a huge bill in the mail for double what I was told it would be because they said benefits were maxed out. they are too incompetent to let me know how much it would cost. I would have waited until 2017 to have my son's wisdom teeth out. Shame on incompetent staff!

As any American I am not a fan of the dentist haha, but this was my second experience with Dr Thatcher on a tooth extraction and once again he was consistent, courteous and efficient. His staff always has a knack for making me feel at ease and calm during the procedure. Hopefully I won't need their services again too soon hahaha but I would gladly recommend them to family and friends! :)
