When I first became aware of this company., it had been just after they didn't stand behind the ten year warranty on a brand new machine for the widow perkins. I had to go over there and put window units in for her. It was the last six months of her life. and no ac. after she passed i bought the house and they told me american standard unit that they installed doesn't cover broken pipes.( due to that being a contractor issue) the machine was only seven years old.
