A good doctor but without conscience. I sent my daughter to emergency room of St. George Reginal Hospital, my daughter was air-lifted to Lehi Children Hospital arrived earlier than me (I drove). Someone reported to DCS that I've neglected my daughter and diagnosed Failure to Thrive. My daughter was taken custody by DCS since July 3rd 2026. This doctor, Scott Newbold did the exam on my daughter July 6th, 2026, my daughter was 22nd% in weight and 56th% in height which is impossible to be "failure to thrive" 4 days ago. We love Dr Newbold! He’s always so kind and great at explaining things where you’re at. He’s usually pretty punctual, which we appreciate and is great with the littles. 10/10 would recommend to someone looking for a pediatrician.
Dr newbold is great. We moved to st g and we still drive 30 mins to come to appointments with her. :))
We had such a positive first appointment with Dr. Newbold and the office at Intermountain! My 3 year old was a bit scared to be at the doctors, but the staff treated him so kindly that by the end he was giving out hugs. Dr. Newbold was incredible with him and sat and spoke to us about his full medical history for 45 min. Being from out of state, I’ve never had a doctor show that level of interest and thoroughness with us. Couldn’t have had a better visit!
This was not a good experience. The Ma’s, Nurses, and girls up front were sooo kind. Other than that I don’t really have anything good to say. The experience with the doctor was not good. We waited 90 minutes to be seen. And the only reason we were seen is because I said we are leaving. THEN the doctor stepped in for a few minutes. I also felt a lot of pressure from him when vaccines came up. I didn’t feel that he actually cared for my child at all. We will not be going back.
