I recently was referred here by my eye doctor of 30 years because of some scarring on my retina. He told me Dr Friedman was the best. After reading a few negatives it made me a bit apprehensive however I was so happy with Dr Friedman and his staff. They were kind , professional, efficient and patient with my concerns and questions. Dr. Friedman has always been an attentive, intelligent and upfront retinal specialist who has always been willing to do whatever it takes to preserve my vision.
Scott Friedman, please work on your bedside manner. My mother who is battling vision loss for reasons she cant get answers to, qas referred to your office. Her previous eye exam had determined that she had blood inside of her eye (splattered). She has been told by several doctors that she does NOT have cataracts. To be so harsh and brash with an elderly whom has gone mostly blind.. shame on you. Thanks, to the staff for making this trip pleasant on your end!
I give Dr. Friedman one star not because of him but because of Renee who does his insurance billing. Let me explain. Under my insurance policy, I am entitled to an annual Diabetic Retinal Exam as I am a Diabetic which covers this exam to 100% with no co pays. In addition, I have an annual vision exam for eyeglasses which is separate from the Retinal Exam. FYI, Retinal specialists do NOT do vision exams for eyeglass prescriptions.
