I have been very fortunate to have benefited as a patient of Dr Scot Cordes for over thirty years. He has expertly surgically mended my broken right humerus, repaired torn meniscus in both of my knees and provided superb ongoing treatments to my knees which have enabled me to pursue a goal I set in 2022 of walking 25,000 miles by 2030 (when I turn 80 years old.) I’ve been seeing Dr. Scott Cordes for approximately 30+ years. He has always taken his time and explains everything in a way I always understand. I have never left his office with unanswered questions. Dr. Cordes is very kind and easy to talk with. He had replaced my left knee 24 years ago and I’ve never had pain since. I’m now 74 and will be meeting with him soon to discuss knee replacement on my right knee. I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Scott Cordes.
Dr. Cordes performed an emergency surgery on me for "displaced subtrochanteric fracture of left femur" (basically a broken hip) at Skokie Northshore hospital after being hit by a car on a bicycle in late September 2019. I remember his bedside manner being excellent. The doctors gave me a bleak diagnosis of six months recovery time at best.
