I met Dr. Lederhaus 28 years ago when I had several herniated disc in my lumbar area. I had been seeing an orthopedist for a number of months but getting nowhere with my pain. By the time I saw Dr. Lederhaus I was crawling on the floor to get around. He ran me through a myriad of mobility tests and got me into surgery within a week and a half. Two hours after surgery I was walking my self and taking my IV stand into the bathroom pain-free. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lederhaus.
This Dr explained the procedure that he would do and did it. I had a herniated L-4 Disc in Oct. 1997 and was in bed for 3 days straight. My husband called my family Dr., (who knew I had been complaining of problems, but thought it was because I had a 4 month old baby). He told me to come to Pomona Valley Hospital for an MRI. Took 2 hours to get me in the car. I had a terrible back labor with the youngest child, my first 2 were C-sections, but I had no problems, since I had epidurals with both of them. When my family Dr. saw ... read more
I am a cardiologist who worked and referred to Dr Leaderhaus over 35 years. He operated on my mother three times with great results. A rare asset for a surgeon is knowing when not to operate and Dr Leaderhaus’s integrity, skill, judgment, and knowledge could be counted on and did not falter all these years. There was no neurosurgeon I trusted more. He is an exemplary person who communicates well with patients and staff and even in retirement, he remains current. I hv reached out twice to him in the past year and a half and a... read more
Had back surgery 20 years ago and still have had no problems. My friend and his wife went to LA because they were highly rated, both had problems the husband had 2 follow up surgeries.
I went to Dr Lederhous for a second opinion. I was recommended to him from a friend who he operated on successfully and did a minimally invasive lumbar surgery on him successfully. I found Dr Lederhous to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I have since found out Dr Lederhous is a member of an ethics group who are against over operating on patients among other things. I highly recommend him.
I had a friend who had back surgery couple years ago, he still has pain but it doesn't go down his leg anymore though
Dr. Lederhaus is the best at what he does. He has a lot of experience and I know he would not do surgery if it wasn't necessary. He is honest, thorough and made me feel completely comfortable. I would send family members to him if I had to.
The office is not patient friendly. The doctor is not concerned with the medical condition of the patient. He will not treat you unless the patient gives up all their legal rights by signing the liability form. So don't waste your time with this office. They don't care about your time and having to take off work to deliver the new patient packet days prior to your scheduled appointment to see this rude doctor. This doctor is only concerned about money in his own pocket.
Business response:
My office is a very efficient and group of concerned employees. I am concerned with your condition. Signing an arbitration form is not mandatory. I prefer having the patient information a couple of days prior to an appointment so I can personally review that information along with the imaging studies so I have a good idea why a patient would be consulting with me when I enter the examination room. It makes me more efficient and informed about your condition.
If you see Dr. Lederhaus you have to sign away all your rights in case of misdiagnosis or medical mistakes. He charges $100 for a cancelled appointment. He will not give any estimates upfront. He doesn't take checks. Money is their main concern (in my opinion), medical problems seem to be secondary. I got a 20 page form to fill out before they would even consider to see me.
Business response:
My evaluations are comprehensive and accurate. I am not perfect, but I have had 30 years of experience diagnosing all types of conditions. We charge a 100 cancellation fee for patients who simply do not show up for an appointment. When that happens I waste an hour of my time since that is how long we book a new patient. I'm sure you can understand. Money is not our main concern, but it is a business and we do appreciate being paid for the work we do. Would you work for free.
