Dr. Epperly is a kind, caring, competent orthopedic surgeon. He explained everything that he would be doing for the procedure and for post-operative care. He made sure that any questions I had were fully answered and that I understood what would be happening after the surgery. He took extra time to allay my fears and prayed with me before my anesthesia. I cannot thank him enough for the care and outcomes of my surgery.
I came in with a large cut in my shoulder from a chainsaw where I'd cut mostly through my deltoid. Dr. Epperly consulted with other ortho colleagues trying decide if my case was something they should take on there. The opinion was split about 50/50 and without being able to find a specialist, he agreed to patch me up. His worry in not having a specialist was my long-term recovery and he was upfront and honest about it which to me is much preferred to a doctor with too much ego to say something might be beyond him.
