I just had an inguinal hernia repair, performed by Dr Scott Braley, and I am very impressed.and grateful. Because of my own rather unreasonable scheduling demands, this was a situation in which I met my new specialist surgeon for a 10 minute consult/examination, and the next time we met, I was in the OR. Absolutely disgraceful. As a British guy working abroad - Dr. Braley took 4 lymph nodes out of my groin for no reason (solely for financial gain)! 4 nodes - in England just 1 would of been taken out! It has been 5 years since the surgery - I still cannot walk without knee pain. I went from being an elite soccer player pre surgery to never playing the sport again, post surgery. My right knee is completely ruined. When I returned to England, the NHS said I had some mild eczema hence why my lymph nodes in groin were raised. The... read more

I had a consult with Dr Braley. In the span of ten minutes he managed to talk down to me and badmouth my internist and all plastic surgeons. He may be a good surgeon, but he's difficult to talk to, and that's putting it mildly.
