From the first time I came, 2 years ago, everyone (staff and medical personnel) have been very attentative to my needs, questions and concerns. I have never felt rushed or ingnored.
I wish I could give negative stars. I can't express enough how much everyone needs to stay away from here. This practice inadvertently poisoned me. Because of their negligence, I was violently ill for two years straight. Oh, and I could have died. Did I mention they almost killed me? People reading the reviews should note that all the glowing reports of this doctor and staff are 2+years old. The ones that are most recent are more accurate to the current condition of the practice. His practice lives in the 2000s. Does not use email, so will not scan test results. He does not talk to patients outside the exam room, he does not call. If you have a question for him, you have to dictate it to the staff, they ask him and call you back with the reply. How much gets lost in translation? How much bad information ... read more
office visits are short and rushed
Not at all happy with this practitioner and office. Erroneous billing, wrong info to lab resulting in letters of payment for 500$ and the worst being that dr berenson does not speak with patients or return phone calls. This is not primary care or health care!
Almost immediately after becoming a new patient, I observed irrational behavior by the doctor and his billing clerk. They conducted illicit billing activities in which they tried to scam me into paying large sums of money for services never provided. I referred the facts to the Special Investigations Unit at Aetna Insurance, who has replied that they will be placing Dr. Scott Berenson and his practice under provider review.
I've been with Dr. Berenson for 14 years now, and Regardless of moving from Boca to Boynton Beach, I still make the trip to see him. He's a very good doctor and I trust his advice due to the great advice and treatments I have received from him over the years. The staff is great and very friendly. I highly recommend doctor Berenson to any one looking for a new doctor or a second opinion.
I've been with Dr. B for 17 years now, and even when we moved up to Wellington from Boca, I still make the trip down. He's a wonderful doctor. There's never a wait, his staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and his PA, Beth Cooney is wonderful too. I recommend Dr. Berenson 110%. To find a doc like him these days is a real treasure.
