The doctor seemed very rushed. I wish he had shared more information about what the imaging had shown. Given a little more time, I would have thought of a couple of questions I would have liked to ask. At the end, he led me to see the optician, mis-gendered me in the handoff, and left me to correct his introduction for myself, without giving me a chance to correct him.
Scott was very personable and also very thorough in his examination of my eyes.
From the very beginning of the visit, they set out to dismiss me. The tech or MA or whoever she was was insistent I had googled the condition I thought I might have. Didn’t matter to her that that eye condition is a symptom of the autoimmune condition I already have been diagnosed with and am in treatment for.
