Makes not sense for a Convenient care to make you schedule an appointment and if they are booked you have to go to an urgent care.
I had an appointment at Baylor Scott & White Convenient Care at 11:20 AM, but my experience was incredibly disappointing. I arrived at 11:26 AM, within their 10-minute late check-in policy. However, I was told I couldn’t be seen because they needed my insurance information for check-in. I needed help and entered the hospital at 1006. Did there online and text check-in to be placed on the waiting list. After a wait of nearly 2 hours, I received a text saying that my wait had extended another 35 minutes and 5 more people were now ahead of me. I approached the desk and informed them I had another appointment at another BSW facility and inquired about the message. It seems I spend more time at the reception desk checking in and paying than I do actually seeing a physician. This was with a pre check in as well. It may be time to check out St Joseph's.
