Dr. Strong is the best after numerous surgeries from others he fixed my problem, I'd give ten stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Strong.
He doesn't seem to remember or care that his patients are humans. He's cold and detached. His nurse Angie seems like she cares, however it's impossible to get a hold of either of them. Even if you are waiting for important results that determine if your 88 year old mother could finally go home after 1.5 months in the hospital-rehab. In patient nurse Brittany is cold and detached as well, must be part of his hiring process. Wouldn't recommend.
Don't go to him if you want to be heard/want your questions answered/be treated like a human
Absolutely terrible surgeon and person. My mother spent weeks in the hospital after a "routine" intestinal surgery went wrong. Dr. Strong could care less about the questions and concerns we had. You have to threaten to get lawyers involved just to get a call back from his office. Even with her at home care nurse, wound specialist and primary care doctors have reached out to him with concerns about her health, he does not return a call. The worst thing about it is, none of her other doctors can treat her efficiently because t... read more
Guy doesn't care. Won't listen to you, my advice, run away fast from this doctor
Go somewhere else. This man will put you through months of treatment only to cancel the surgery at the last minute in fear of losing his salary.
Anger management issues and impatient
I would not recommend Dr. Strong. I am an RN and Dr. Strong operated on my mother 2 years ago. While inpatient after the surgery, she became septic. The autopsy showed intestinal wound not properly closed. I regret not seeking second opinion as I trusted his credentials and highly rated experience as a colorectal surgeon. He showed no empathy, did not even approach me or my family when they said nothing else could be done, it was the residents speaking to me. He always looked rushed, this happened at Northwestern Memorial.
