Great guy. Never pressured surgery and explained everything, answered all my questions. Two months later and my knee feels great.
I’ve now had 2 successful scopes of my knees with Dr. Smith and that man and his team are incredible. His bedside manner is fantastic, never cut me off, asked questions and listened to my concerns. Addressed the issues and made sure I had no questions. If I could give a 10 star review I would.

I visited the Riverview health hospital in Westfield after falling while skiing. When the MRI came back that I completely tore my ACL, with partial tears in my meniscus and MCL I got referred to see Dr. Scott Smith. During my first visit with him, he did a wonderful job walking me and my mother through the entire process. He had a knee model where he showed and explained every little detail and kindly walked me through my MRI images. Explaining different options I had and being so understanding. No time wasted on getting me fixed up. He got right to the point and took personal issues into serious consideration when prescribing me medicine for pain and I greatly do appreciate that. The entire team that was helping me was fantastic and if I’m unfortunate enough to need to see an orthopedic surgeon again, Dr. Smith will most definitely be the first surgeon I go to.
